This website

If you ask for product updates, we store your email address. If you request a demo, we store your name, work email and company. We use them only to send the updates or arrange the demo.

You pick the time in a calendar from Calendly. Calendly receives your name, email and the time you choose, may set its own cookies, and handles them under its own privacy notice.

We use an analytics tool to see how the site is used, so we can improve it. Nothing is stored on your device.

We and our hosting providers process technical information such as IP addresses to run and protect the site. We don’t sell your data, and the site has no advertising trackers.

Company data in Docentra

A company’s documents and records are kept for as long as the company uses Docentra. When its owner deletes the company in Settings, they are deleted at once and leave our backups within 30 days.

Logs are deleted automatically, after 24 months at the latest. Backups are encrypted and stored in the EU.

We log how Docentra is used by each company, such as how many requests, questions and exports it makes, to keep the service secure and to spot unauthorised access, automated copying and other misuse. We do this because protecting the service and our customers’ data is a legitimate interest of ours.

In the product we use an analytics tool to see how it is used and to find faults, including recordings of sessions in which all text and entries are masked. It uses a cookie and your browser’s storage to remember who is signed in.

You can delete your own account under Settings › Account. What you did stays in the company’s history under your name.

Public court rulings

We keep a copy of rulings in civil cases on commercial matters that the Danish courts publish in Domsdatabasen, as the courts publish them: with the names of the people in them replaced. We don’t try to tell who anyone in them is, we leave out what witnesses said, and we delete a ruling when the courts withdraw it. We do this because understanding how courts read the law that applies to our customers’ agreements is a legitimate interest of ours.
